grey sky hides the sunraindrops blur the mountain vistadaisy smiles from the grass
the frogs are silentas the sky replaces the water it has borrowedfrom the pond
rain on the pondreplacing drop by dropwhat the sun has taken
deer fly bites my earflits away and then becomesfrog's afternoon meal
a walk through the woodsthe sun brightening my paththrough the tree tunnel
stream in the forestdragonfly activitycobalt blue & green
tiny frog in a puddlehops three times to grass and leaveswithout saying goodbye
with the ones we lovewe find peace and quietude --hibernating bears
transforming sadnessthe joy of times rememberedwith the ones we love

yellow butterflywings straight up under a leaf --natural umbrella
daily trek up the hillto fetch the water from the wellblack flies as companions
