How can I bear the loneliness I feel?
Locked up in my apartment for so long,
I start to think my world’s become unreal,
and everything seems lost or somehow gone.
But then Your Face shines through to light my day.
The Face that makes my dreams burst forth with life.
And in that moment I can find my way
through all of this secluded pain and strife.
If only for a moment I am free
to see the happiness outside this room,
when I will be with you, and you with me,
and Love will once again be in full bloom.
The Sun cannot but finish second place,
for nothing can outshine My Lover’s face.
