This haiku was inspired by a photograph I shot while on a hike up Mount Chase in northern Maine, just outside Patten. I published the photo as a creative prompt on Fálki’s Falcon & Acorn Mighty Network in the Creating Daily circle.
This shack is about two-thirds of the way up (or one-third of the way down) the a long trail to and from the summit.
